In our day to day lives we are hugely influenced by what we see around us. Although we don’t accept it, the many people or even strangers out there choose what we wear, eat and even do. This world is slowly being taken over by people who go under the name of influencers. Overall, influencers are more effective at influencing their followers by almost buying these decisions since their fans trust them that they will choose a great path. For example if we take Nadal as an example. The amount of followers he has enables him to make huge decisions because he knows that his fans are always there for him and when he released a logo for his brand everyone was after it for they thought that this was the new cool.
And here is what I think. In today’s world I feel that to many decisions are being made not purely from heart but from the fame and glory around us. Where we think that these celebs are better than us and we respect their decisions by wearing what they choose. Of course this benefits the economy hugely with huge blast of money coming in after these celebs and brands but we are not deciding what is best for us and that is something that i hugely disagree with. It is unoriginal, some would say unethical and even just robotic in a way where we cannot make our own decisions but only follow an individual who has the power to affect our payments and decisions.
I believe that we have to learn to detach from the outside world and make our own decisions using our gut and brain. I believe in rationalism where everything can be ultimately traced back to the mind and not to our deceiving senses. What about you? Leave it in the comments below.

Learning to detach yourself from needing specific outcomes, can be a slow journey, but the freedom you’ll attain on each step will keep you motivated for sure.
Let go of needing it to be different than it is whenever you remember, and enjoy the continuous experience of expansion and freedom.

Dear Viren,
Very impressed with your views not to get influenced but think independently on what your needs are. It’s a slow process like your mum suggests in her comments but it is an important process.
It is also important to remember that marketing is a big business and to know where it is important, value added and where not to compromise.
For example when it comes to cars, your first car maybe for its utility and not name brand but later you may want a nicer brand.
Another example is education, which school is also the brand like Oxford or Harvard or Stanford or IITs in India. This is where you may not want to compromise.
Again be discreet in your discrimination. It’s for you to know only and nothing you need to announce it to others. Your choice is your prerogative and feel confident about it.
